Dabancheng District ( Uyghur : داۋانچىڭ رايونى ) is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region , China . The total area is 5042 square kilometers, with a population of 40,000 in 2002.

- In November 1970, the State Council approved the establishment of the Nanshan Mining Area of Urumqi City. The area is Alagou and Aweiergou in Hejing County. Area of about 1800 square kilometers. In June 1971, the Nanshan Mining District Revolutionary Committee was formally established.
- In 1973, the Nanshan Mining District established the Allah Valley (in the mouth of the Allah Grottoes) and the Aiweiergou (in the Aiweiergou coal mine) 2 street office.
- In May 1976, the street of Xinghuo Street was set in the west of Aragou Street, and the street of Alagou was renamed Dongfeng Street.
- In November 1979, the Southern Xinjiang Railway (Takushima Section) was paved.
- In March 1986, the government of the autonomous region approved the “Report on the Administrative Divisions and Related Issues of the Nanshan Mining Area in Urumqi” (Xinzhengfa [1986] No. 26) Notice: About 48 square kilometers of the Yuergou Railway Station area in Toksun County. The area (channels and supporting water conservancy projects are still managed and used in Toksun County) was assigned to the Nanshan Mining Area of Urumqi.
- In August 1999, the State Council approved: The Nanshan Mining Area of Urumqi City was renamed Nanquan District and the district government moved from Aragou (mouth) to Yuergou.
- In March 2002, the State Council approved (Guo Han [2002] No. 20) to adjust the administrative divisions of Nanquan District of Urumqi: Ulaaber Street in Tianshan District of Urumqi City and Daban Township, Donggou Township, Xigou Township, Aksu Township in Urumqi County Chaiwopu Township is under the jurisdiction of Nanquan District of Urumqi. Nanquan District was renamed as Daban District of Urumqi City . The district government resident moved from Huergou to Daban Town.
- In 2002, Dongfeng Street was renamed Yuergou Street.
- In October 2008, the government of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region issued the “Circular on Adjusting the Administrative Boundary between Dalaicheng District and Tuokexun County of Turpan District” (No. 72, New Zhengfa [2008]), and placed Yuergou Street and Xinghuo Street. 428.4 square kilometers was placed under the management of Toksun County in Turpan, and 260.6 square kilometers of Aiweiergou Street were still managed by Dabancheng District. Taxes for industrial and mining companies that are allocated to the Toksun County administrative area are still collected by Dabancheng District. After taking over in Toksun County, Shijie Town (preparatory office) was established in early 2009. In May 2010, Shijiao Township was renamed Alehui Town and listed. There were 3 communities in Yuergou, Nanquan, and Alagou.
- In July 2009, the office of the Yugougou Sub-district Office was relocated to Salt Lake, an area belonging to Ulapo Street, and changed its name to the Salt Lake Sub-district Office. It was formally unveiled in December.
